Course Development
Course Title: Design Thinking
Audience: Undergraduate and online adult learners
My Role:
Owned the end-to-end instructional design process, including content development, assessment creation, curriculum restructuring, and project management. Collaborated with faculty stakeholders to ensure academic rigor and relevance to current business practices.
Design Approach:
Redesigned the course using Bloom’s Taxonomy and backwards design to ensure clear alignment between learning objectives, content, and assessments. Integrated multimedia instructional videos and real world assignments to enhance engagement and support varied learning styles.

Online Adult Students
My Role:
Served as the instructional designer for micro lessons for an introductory Anatomy and Physiology course. Collaborated closely with a subject matter expert to develop instructional content and assessments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with course goals.
Design Approach:
Reviewed existing materials to identify learning gaps and structured objectives using the first three levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Incorporated formative knowledge checks to reinforce key concepts and support learner progression. Built the course in Articulate Rise, leveraging ChatGPT to draft and refine content, resulting in an interactive and accessible online learning experience.

Faculty Mentor Program
My Role
Spearheaded the design and implementation of a faculty mentor program aimed at enhancing first-year student retention by leveraging adjunct faculty as strategic mentors. Defined program goals, developed comprehensive training materials, and facilitated workshops to equip faculty with the skills and strategies needed to support student success effectively.
Program Design & Impact
Designed a year-long, one-to-one mentorship model that aligned faculty engagement with institutional retention objectives. Provided mentors with structured guidance and resources to cultivate meaningful student relationships, monitor progress, and address early challenges.
The program resulted in a 10% increase in freshman student retention, strengthening both faculty development and student outcomes while supporting institutional strategic priorities.
